Have you ever thought about starting your own business?

I honestly think about that a lot, especially days when I’m extremely tired from my 9-5, and find myself hungry, and stuck in seemingly never-ending traffic.

I find myself thinking out loud “I wish I could start a business” and control my own hours!

Don’t get me wrong, I love my Job, but multiple streams of income never hurt nobody yes?

Well if you are like me, what’s really holding us back?

So back to my colleague Annie , who recently started a Business!

Her business? Royal Boba: Handcrafted Milk Tea

On this juicy episode Annie shares details about:

*how she juggles owning a business with having a full time job (trust me I know about her crazy work hours)

* The Pros and Cons of co-owning a business with her boyfriend

*The Hardest challenge of being a young entrepreneur in Nashville, and

*Her best advise for ANYONE hoping to start a business.

You guys!!!! This episode left me so motivated, I’m about to start calling all my friends and family members! Listen to the episode to find out why.

Annie’s New Business : Boba Drink!

I don’t know about you, but in my culture titles are highly regarded.

Parents take pride in telling their friends about the achievements of their children.

“Oh my daughter is now a doctor, an engineer, a scientist, professor, pilot, ” the list goes on and on.

This week on the podcast my guest Annie speaks about the fact that even though her business has become so successful, she hesitates to quit her day job as titles are also important in her culture.

e.g Dentist Vs Business Owner, Medical Doctor Vs Business Owner.
One unique thing I have picked up from all the amazing people I’ve interviewed so far is that we are all fundamentally alike.

We are all HUMAN.

We stress, we laugh, we cry, we worry, we overcome ALIKE, regardless of ethnicity.

Running a business is not a walk in the park, so you want you business idea to be something you are absolutely passionate about.
